Let me introduce myself. I'm Shelly Slovin, a Realtor with Prudential California Realty, John Aaroe Division in the West Valley office. As a transplanted Chicagoan, I think Southern California a great place to live. I live and work in Woodland Hills, and I'm a big fan of the west San Fernando Valley, which includes Woodland HIlls, Calabasas, West Hills, Tarzana, Bell Canyon, Hidden HIlls, and extends west to Agoura Hills, Oak Park, Lake Sherwood and Thousand Oaks.

Don't let your friends who live over the hill tell you otherwise--there are a plethora of things to do right here in our neighborhood. Besides the natural beauty of the Santa Monica Mountains and the Pacific Ocean available right in our backyard, cultural opportunities here have blossomed. We have concerts, a thriving small theatre scene, art galleries, interesting shopping, and fine dining. Those who are interested in an active lifestyle will find world class golf courses, tennis clubs and more.

Why, we even have celebrities living right here in Calabasas, Woodland HIlls and Hidden Hills. They have found out what a great place this is live. North Ranch, Westlake Village, and Lake Sherwood are also called home by entertainment luminaries. I've seen Heather Locklear in the dentist's office. Kareem Abdul Jabbar has been spotted around the neighborhood. A member of the Eagles used to take walks around my hillside neighborhood.
